PARENTS' CHARTER

DO


1. Act in a dignified manner, ensuring that the reputation of your child and Fox Football are maintained.

2. Ensure your child is wearing his Fox Football uniform to ALL sessions. Educate your child to play within the laws of the game at all times. Remember that the members are playing for their own enjoyment and not for your ambitions or egos.
Foster enthusiastic participation.
Refrain from using, or encouraging the use, of comments that are offensive or discriminatory, including racist or bigoted language.
Remember that the referee’s decision is final. Emphasise respect for referees and their assistants by not publicly questioning their honesty or decision making.

3. Report problems or concerns regarding improper running of an opposition Team to your son or daughters coach or Fox representative who is the official responsible for liaising with the organisers.

4. Parents have to appreciate that the Coach knows best, in terms of Development and Progression. Your Child is being taught by a highly educated and highly experienced coach. Our coaches are Professionals and of an extremely high standard.

5. Report ALL incidents of inappropriate behavior of Fox football members, coaches and parents IMMEDIATELY to the Head Coach and the Administration office.

6. Stand back from the touchline to allow the coaches to be able to view the game/training session (in most cases Parent/Guardians will be asked to stand on the opposite side of the pitch from the Coach or in stand/designated area).

7. Encourage children who have made a mistake during the game – never criticise or ridicule them.

8. Applaud good play by all participants ­ children learn best by example,

9. Teach children that honest endeavour is as important as victory. Defeat should be accepted with dignity.

10. Ensure that children are on time for all games and training sessions, (failure to arrive in time for a match will result in the player being immediately put on the subs
bench).

11. Ensure that there are sufficient coaches available before leaving a child at a training/match venue ­ remember it is possible that a coach may be delayed, ill etc.

12. Ensure that you arrive at games/training in plenty of time to collect your child (many coaches have other sessions to be moving onto, or the office as their working day is not done).

13. With particularly Young players (Fox Cubs), assist the coaches when your child is disrupting the session. The coach is there to coach and not to act as a child­minder, it will also allow coaches to coach! Should this not be adhered to your child may be asked to leave.

14. Pay all subs and memberships fees on time; seek us out to make sure your child has paid their way.


DO NOT


1. Force an unwilling child into football.

2. Verbally abuse, humiliate or intimidate members, participants, managers, match officials or 
Use or encourage the use of bad language, foul play or cheating.

3. Enter the area of play before or during the event/training (unless to assist in the 
above mentioned Fox Cub scenario’s).
Assume that coaches are able to wait after the end of sessions/games for you 
to arrive to pick up your child ­ coaches have families and other events/sessions to be moving onto. 
Smoke/drink alcohol at training/game premises. No fast food or Soda to players during matches or training.

4. Parents please refrain from asking coaches term prices.
The prices are sent out to you, this is to allow speedy payment and allow parents to arrange the money at home and the coaches to coach at sessions.

5. Asking term dates, including the off days to coaches at sessions. All info is on the facebook and website, again, please allow the coaches to coach.

6. Parents must refrain from not registering players for the new term and then simply turning up.

7. Late payments. All payments should be made before the first session of a new term

8. Late arrival of players to matches and training could result in player being benched 
or a one match ban, in some cases both.

9. Parents must not inform us within a short period of time the absence of a player to 
training or a request to make up. The club policy is 6 hours notice. You will not be 
entitled to a make up if this is not followed

10. Contacting coaches outside of work hours. Our working hours are 10am­7pm. Only 
in an emergencies should a coach be contacted outside of this time via phone. 
Emails are fine at anytime

11. Parents coming onto the fields during training and matches. Please respect the 
training / match space and stay in the designated areas 
Payment reminder
Payments can be made at our office from 10am­2pm and after a session Monday­ Friday. Saturday in D2 after the session only and District 7 before or after the sessions. Bank Transfers are also possible. Coaches are primarily there to coach, please do not approach coaches with payments until after sessions, unless a designated administration coach is present.

Players registered to play/train for FOX FOOTBALL VIETNAM, must only play and train with Fox Football Vietnam, any player attending sessions of another club (without prior knowledge and approval of the coach will be asked to leave the club, (with no refund). This is fully against club policy.

PARENTS SHOULD BE AWARE THAT FAILURE TO ACCEPT OR ABIDE BY THIS CHARTER COULD RESULT IN BEING ASKED NOT TO ATTEND MATCHES/TRAINING AND MAY, ULTIMATELY, AFFECT YOUR CHILD’S MEMBERSHIP OF THE FOX FOOTBALL PROGRAM.

PLAYERS' CHARTER

As a Player of FOX FOOTBALL the Recreational School & Academy expects you to achieve the following:

1. You will act in a responsible manner and treat all members and coaches equally, with dignity and respect.

2. You will always promote the positive aspects of football and the ethos of Fox football.

3. Players must wear NO JEWLERY (in extreme cases have it “taped up”).

4. All Players must wear shin guards. If needs be your coach can provide these, please 
contact the club.

5. You will display high standards of behavior and appearance at all times, (Fox football 
training top, shorts and socks). You are there to have fun and so are your teammates. Everyone should be allowed to learn and develop in a friendly and encouraging atmosphere.

6. At no time is foul or abusive language or bullying permitted.

7. If unable to attend a match or training you shall notify your coach or club official as early as 
possible through an email, text or phone call to the coach. With Name, Age Group and 
date/time of training/game).

8. Good time keeping is a key element to being an Fox Football Player. This is essential for 
both training and matches.

9. When arriving for Training/Game, you must say hello to your coaches before taking a ball 
before session.

and playing at a very high level. He/She has trained for years to get to the level they are at now. Their opinions and views must be respected, as everything they are doing, they are doing for you!

19. When the coach talks…you listen.

20. Always work hard and do your best.

FOX FOOTBALL COACHES' CHARTER

As Coaches we endeavour to achieve the following for all Fox football members:

1. We will respect the rights, dignity and worth of every member and treat everyone equally within the context of the club.

2. We will always promote the positive aspects of football and the ethos of Fox football.

3. We will place the well being and safety of the members above the development of

4. We will develop a working relationship with members, especially young children, based on 
mutual trust and respect.

5. We will encourage and guide members to accept responsibility for their own behavior.

6. We will be dedicated to Youth Development and Player Progression, mentally and

7. We will ensure the activities we direct or advocate are appropriate for the age, maturity, 
experience and ability of the member.

8. We will at the outset clarify with members, their parents/guardian, exactly what is expected 
of them by reference to the members’ charter.

9. We will display high standards of behavior and appearance at all times.

10. We will be positive with members and look to give beneficial feedback at all times.

11. We will ensure that the selection policy in operation within teams is consistent with the 
ethos of the Club and is fully understood by members and parents alike.

12. We will endeavor to gain nationally recognised governing body coaching qualifications 
appropriate to the age group we are involved with and to continue to grow our qualification 
along with our teams.

13.Coaches will reply to emails and texts etc from parents and players as soon as possible.

14. Coaches should always be open and accessible (during working hours).

15. Coaches must act as a role model in front of the players at all times, regardless of working 
hours or not. This includes correct language, abstaining of alcohol, safe driving etc.

DISCIPLINARY PRECEDURE

Fox Football will undertake to resolve any issues without recourse to a disciplinary procedure. However where any of the rules within this charter are broken and the officials and coaches feel it is appropriate we will hold a disciplinary meeting that will involve a member and their parent/guardian. 


COMPLAINTS POLICY STATEMENT

Any complaint/comment should, in the first instance be raised with the Coach/ parent representative responsible for the age group. Fox Football coaching staff are happy to listen to any comments/complaints presented to them by parents/guardians of their members. Our aim is to resolve any issue openly and honestly and as quickly and effectively as possible. 
Should any parent or guardian not wish to discuss an issue directly with the coaches/parent representative or be dissatisfied with a response provided by them, contact a Director or Head Coach.
