Under 8

Our U8 players, born in 2019-2020, are encouraged to learn, participate, and enjoy their football experience. Our coaches prioritise the development of fundamental skills such as ball mastery, while fostering a spirit of experimentation and exploration. We emphasise equal participation through a rotation system, valuing player development over results.

Rather than fixed positions, players are introduced to various roles within the team: defender, midfielder, and attacker, promoting a well-rounded understanding of the game.

The U8 age group marks an exciting phase of discovery, as players begin to engage in match play against other teams. This period serves as an introduction to the basic rules of football and the concept of competition. As the season progresses, our young players have the opportunity to showcase their skills and gain valuable exposure through competitive tournaments.
